Please read these terms carefully before using Hawas.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Hawas mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hawas ("we," "us," or "our"). We may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Hawas is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Scan coffee products using camera technology
- Build digital collections of coffee trading cards
- Track coffee discoveries and personal tasting notes
- Participate in coffee discovery journeys and earn achievements
- Connect with other coffee enthusiasts
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without prior notice.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
4. User Content
4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display through the App ("User Content"), including but not limited to photos, reviews, comments, and tasting notes.
4.2 License Grant
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the App.
4.3 Content Standards
You agree not to submit User Content that:
- Is false, misleading, or inaccurate
- Infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights
- Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Contains spam, advertising, or promotional material
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Property
The App, including its design, features, content, and functionality, is owned by Hawas and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without our express written consent.
5.2 Trademarks
"Hawas," "حواس," the Hawas logo, and related marks are trademarks of Hawas. Third-party trademarks, including coffee brand names and logos appearing in the App, are the property of their respective owners.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated systems to access the App without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harvest or collect user information without consent
- Upload viruses or malicious code
7. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with or link to third-party services, including but not limited to payment processors, social media platforms, and analytics providers. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
8.1 No Warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8.2 Coffee Information
Information about coffee products provided in the App, including origins, flavor notes, and processing methods, is for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of such information and are not responsible for any decisions made based on it.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAWAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hawas and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hawas operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hawas regarding the App.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
